Drones, also known as unmanned aerial systems (UASs) or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are all the buzz in 2014. They’ve been popping up everywhere from agriculture to real estate to rescue missions and are even bringing the Internet and other technology to remote areas of the world. Heck, Amazon.com (NASDAQ: AMZN) wants them to deliver packages!
The Federal Aviation Administration’s restriction on drones for commercial use and supposed “crackdown” has the industry scrambling for answers and investments… sometimes uncertainty can provide the best opportunities.
